Hi Tevya,
I am a TNG user and I think the software is great. I also just created a wordPress blog http://www.blog.gittensfamily.ca and I moved my Blogger stuff to my new word press set up. I see much chatter regarding the integration of TNG and WordPress but I am missing the point as to what the benefits might be of such an integration. Could you explain in 25 words or less what the benefits might entail?
I like your style Cliff. How about 7 words? “Unified login and easy cross-content linking.” As far as I can tell, the WordPress plugin is not currently working. However, the ideal integration would allow there to be one login that gave the user access to both the site/blog and the family tree. If it used the same database, it could also potentially make it very easy to link to content from one area in the other (see WP 3.1’s new insert link functionality). That way you could link from an individual’s (or family’s) record to a blog post on that person, and vice-versa, without copying and pasting URL’s, etc.
