This is one of hundreds of videso where I answer the most commonly asked questions related to small business websites. Today’s question is, “How much money should I invest in marketing my website?”

It’s a great question! The beauty about online marketing is that you can pay as little or as much as you want. Take it on a commercial or in the network TV, or in the newspaper, or on the radio. Ten to 15 years ago or even today it’s quite expensive for a small business owner, but online you can market for as little as a dollar a day or cents a day if you want, through Google AdWords or through Facebook marketing. There are various ways that you can put a little money towards a marketing budget and see what comes out of it.

What you’re looking for with any marketing is the return of investment (ROI) for that marketing budget. Even if it’s a dollar you recoup that dollarĀ  through those efforts of those marketing. So, it goes back to that same marketing principle of getting that ROI on your marketing but the beauty of it all is that you can do marketing online for a very little budget.
